History

Founded in 1977, ABIEF (Brazilian Flexible Plastic Packaging Association) joins 166 companies, strategically located, that are responsible for the production of many kinds of flexible plastic packages. Their main products are:

• monolayer, coextruded and laminated films;
• PVC and BOPP films;
• plastic bags;
• industrial bags;
• shrink and stretch films;
• labels and sleeves;
• stand-up pouches;
• special packaging.

Besides the board, ABIEF is also formed by Sector Committees that work with specific subjects.
